KENNY POWAR, CEO

As Global Chief Executive Officer of BLUE, Kenny Powar is responsible for the strategic direction, growth and profitability of BLUE’s agency services globally. Since joining BLUE in 2002, he has been an integral part of the leadership team that has seen BLUE develop into one of the most successful digital and data-driven marketing services companies.

co_04_people_kpowarBased in BLUE’s headquarters in Singapore, Kenny continues to work directly with clients to define, evolve and implement marketing strategies and solutions. Kenny is always also looking to develop collaborations and ventures with WPP companies and other organisations in order to expand BLUE’s capabilities and reach.

Kenny has extensive experience in technology-driven marketing communications, originally in database and direct marketing, and then digital and interactive. Prior to BLUE, Kenny was Regional Director of Technology, Data and Interactive Services at Wunderman/Impiric Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Kenny worked with Finex Communications Group in the UK and Singapore.

As a father of two young boys, most of his spare time is spent pretending to be an expert footballer/rugby player/wii player/punching bag. Having lived in Europe and Asia, and worked across all continents, Kenny thinks he is a true global citizen. Kenny graduated from City University London with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.


OZ AKSUGUR, COO

Currently, as the Global Chief Operating Officer, Oz focuses on running BLUE across all the offices, globally. As he has done with BLUE, over the years Oz has led numerous innovative marketing solutions for blue chip companies in both B2B and B2C spaces across a range of industries. Oz has been with BLUE since 2002.

Oz AksugurOz has over 18 years of experience in Integrated and Digital Marketing gained globally, with special focus on Europe & Asia Pacific. Prior to joining BLUE, Oz was the Regional Vice President at Wunderman (WPP), where he spearheaded their regional transformation into what was then the largest integrated and digital marketing services network in APAC. In Europe, Oz was Director of Online and Database Marketing at CDP (Dentsu), and prior to that had held integrated marketing positions at companies such as Miller Star (MRM) and CPM (Omnicom).

Oz is a father of two and holds degrees from Oxford Brookes University, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Direct Marketing, and The University of Greenwich (MA in Marketing). With on the ground working experience in over 30+ countries, Oz is a regular contributor at international industry events, having run over 250 marketing conferences and workshops across the globe.


EDWARD LEE, CFO

As BLUE’s Global Chief Financial Officer, Edward is responsible for financial performance, developing pricing and costing strategies, and WPP and statutory compliances. He is a business partner to the MDs in the region and a financial advisor to the board of management on strategy planning.

Edward LeeEdward has over 20 years of experience in regional finance roles for different industries, mainly Exhibition, CRM and Media. He is a multi-tasking regional finance professional with knowledge of the digital environment, legal structure and tax compliance in Asia Pacific. He is also responsible for all contract and operational planning across the region. BLUE and its clients benefit from Edward’s extensive regional tax and cross border planning experience. He has been within the WPP network for the past four years.

Edward is married to a lovely wife and has 2 adorable kids. He has extensively travelled in the Asia Pacific region and been exposed to different cultures and well-connected with the locals that give him the advantage of regional networking. Edward has a tech craze and always keeps abreast of the latest technology. He reads all kinds of books except for fantasy – he doesn’t believe in windfalls. Edward holds an MBA in Financial Management.
