Jay Pring becomes Global Engagement Director

Aussie digital guru, Jay Pring, joins BLUE Singapore as Global Engagement Director

Jay PringMr. Jay Pring, former head of digital strategy at one of Australia’s leading retail and publishing brands, R.M.Williams, has joined BLUE Interactive as Group Engagement Director.

With extensive experience in B2B and B2C digital solutions, Jay will focus his efforts on key regional accounts helping develop long-term, sustainable digital strategies to grow their business.

Jay’s digital career spans more than 15 years, working with such brands as News Corp, ninemsn, R.M.Williams, Toyota, Mars Corp, Vodafone, and others. His most recent achievement was in developing a global online strategy for R.M.Williams, Australia’s premier fashion and publishing brand. The strategy encompassed a whole of business approach which saw the retailer’s back end fulfillment systems fully integrated with a new point of sale solution and a robust CRM capability all linked to a new website. The result was a substantial increase in sales and an improvement in customer service processes across the company’s B2C retail and B2B wholesale divisions.

With broad experience in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, Jay brings an innate passion for all things internet to his new role. He is an avid believer in the medium’s power to bring real, measurable results to all types of businesses, and has lately immersed himself in the exciting opportunities presented by social media.

Jay has this to say on joining BLUE, “I believe we’re entering a year in which the digital spectrum will substantially change the way we go about our lives, our business and our way of looking at the world. I’m looking forward to working with BLUE’s clients to help shape their digital success in 2010.”

Previously, Jay was an award-winning journalist and publisher, working with titles such as The Sydney Morning Herald, and has extensive experience of digital content development and marketing as a former editorial director at online news service ninemsn. He is a published author and experienced scuba diver.

Jay will be based at BLUE’s office in Singapore with a mandate to elevate the agency’s client engagement throughout the region.
