Blue voted Marketing Magazine Agency of the Year 2009

SINGAPORE – Digital agency BLUE dominates Marketing Magazine’s 2009 Agency of the Year Awards, taking home the overall Agency of the Year crown and five other awards.
At the annual Marketing Magazine Agency of the Year gala event held on Thursday, 30 July 2009, BLUE enjoyed a spectacular evening, ultimately being crowned Singapore’s top agency.
This marks the first time that a digital agency has won the prestigious accolade at the Awards, which are strictly decided through extensive polling of marketers.
Says CEO Kenny Powar on this milestone, “At a time when client advertising budgets are becoming ever more conservative, we are seeing that the shift to digital is accelerating. We’re on track for our best year ever and getting this recognition from client marketers validates our strategy of delivering measurable, results-driven work.”
In a great night for WPP agencies, BLUE beat strong challenges from Ogilvy and XM Asia, winning gold in the categories of Email Marketing Agency and Search Marketing Agency, silver in Online Advertising Agency, bronze in Web Design Agency, and was a finalist in the Direct Marketing Agency category.

I don’t think this will be the last time a Digital Agency wins this accolade.”
