Microsoft New Day New Office Campaign
Challenge
Microsoft was launching the new version of Microsoft Office 2007 to an audience that did not understand why they should upgrade, and was very reluctant to spend their budgets doing so.
Solution
BLUE developed an immersive contest to encourage users to explore key features of the Microsoft Office 2007. Using stylistic, animated illustrations set in familiar environments, users are encourage to explore and understand how they can benefit from the new features of Office 2007.
Result
Over a six-month period, the campaign surpassed the benchmarks as compared to global Microsoft online efforts, with over 100% more clickthroughs. The campaign also exceeded the target for downloads and trials by more than 200%.
